About Michael D Schoenfeldt

Based in Kansas, Michael D. Schoenfeldt is a retired Army colonel with more than two decades of experience in operations planning and strategic leadership. As commander of an armored brigade combat team, he oversaw 4,500 personnel as well as an annual budget of $160 million. In his role, Michael D. Schoenfeldt ensured that the force was always prepared to move to anywhere in the world through all means of transportation. Previously, Michael D. Schoenfeldt served as a battalion commander, which involved managing 800 personnel. He managed the strategic vision and operational objectives for the operation as it prepared for deployment to South Korea. A graduate of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, Mr. Schoenfeldt earned a master of science in national resource strategy as well as a graduate certificate for supply chain management. He also holds a master of science in adult, occupational, and continuing education from Kansas State University. In 1998, Mr. Schoenfeldt received a bachelor of science in history from the University of Kansas.
